The Tummy Tuck, also known as  Abdominoplasty, is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and also tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall. The procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen, or “Tummy”. PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Miami and Tampa has performed thousands of safe and affordable Tummy Tuck procedures over the past fifteen (15) years.

At PREMIERE Center, Tummy Tuck Surgery is typically a three to four-hour procedure. Patients typically return to work and/or light activity within one week. Although, most patients are back to work and non-physical social activities in about a week, it may take several weeks before patients can begin exercise. In some instances, a patient may only need a Mini Tummy Tuck, or Mini Abdominoplasty, to correct their condition. At PREMIERE Center the Mini Tummy Tuck is a two to three hour procedure. Patients typically return to work and/or light activity within one week. The Tummy Tuck and Mini Tummy Tuck procedures do leave a permanent scar, which, depending on the extent of the original problem and the surgery required to correct it, can extend from hip to hip. The Mini Tummy Tuck procedure leaves a smaller, less noticeable scar.
