A Breast Lift can offset the effects of pregnancy, nursing, and the force of gravity, which take their toll on a woman's breasts. As skin loses its elasticity, breasts often lose their shape and firmness…and begin to sag. A Breast Lift is the procedure of choice to address these breast conditions, and no place does it better than PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery. PREMIERE Center has performed thousands of safe and affordable Breast Lift procedures over the past fifteen (15) years.

A Breast Lift, or Mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to raise and reshape sagging breasts. There are three types of Breast Lift procedures, based on the degree of ptosis (sagging).

The first type of Breast Lift addresses the least amount of ptosis (sagging). To remedy a small amount of ptosis (sagging) our Board Certified plastic surgeons make an incision only around the areola.
The second type of Breast Lift addresses a moderate amount of ptosis (sagging). To remedy a moderate amount of ptosis (sagging) the Board Certified plastic surgeons at PREMIERE Center make an incision around the areola and down the front of the breast, commonly referred to as a “lollipop” incision.

The third type of Breast Lift addresses the most severe amount of ptosis (sagging). To remedy a severe amount of ptosis (sagging) our surgeons make an incision around the areola, down the front of the breast, and in the breast crease, commonly referred to as an “anchor” incision.

A Breast Lift can also reduce the size of the areola, the darker skin surrounding the nipple. If your breasts are small or have lost volume, for example, after pregnancy, you can combine a Breast Lift with a Breast Augmentation, where breast implants (saline breast implants or silicone breast implants) are inserted in conjunction with the Breast Lift and will increase both breast firmness and breast size.

The cosmetic plastic surgeons at PREMIERE Center help patients determine the expected size and shape of the breast depending on each individual woman’s anatomy and/or preferences.

A Breast Lift is a two to three-hour procedure, with minimal post-operative discomfort. Women typically return to work and/or light activity within one week. Although, most patients are back to work and non-physical social activities in about a week, it may take several weeks before patients can begin strenuous exercise. Each woman’s anatomy is different and your results may vary, which is why PREMIERE Center offers FREE consultations with our surgeons.

The Breast Lift procedure is done on an outpatient basis, in the privacy and comfort of our fully accredited (AAAASF) cosmetic surgery suites in Miami and Tampa.

Whether you are going to have your surgery with our highly skilled surgeons at PREMIERE Center, or not, please make sure you have your surgery at a fully accredited facility and have the Breast Lift procedure performed by a Board Certified Plastic surgeon.

Each of our Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons has 20 + years of surgery experience and are dedicated to you, your health, and your results.
