Labiaplasty Aftercare Hygiene?

Aftercare hygiene for post-labiaplasy may help speed up the recuperation process and therefore is highly recommended. We recommend for patients to purchase a spray bottle and spray soapy water each time they urinate to keep the area clean. After each washing, gently pat the area dry with a clean towel or hand cloth. Antibiotic ointments may be used to keep the incision line moist. It is important to take the oral antibiotics to decrease the chances of getting a bacterial infection, but unfortunately they may open the door to yeast infections. If the patient is prone to these infections notify your surgeon prior to the procedure.
