What Is QWO®?
QWO® is an injectable treatment made up of two different enzymes that interrupt the subdermal fibrous septae that cause cellulite.
The solution is injected beneath the cellulite dimple to dissolve the fibrous septae while promoting the production of collagen (which helps to strengthen the skin and keep it healthy).
This injection treatment results in softer, smoother skin that can’t help but make you smile.
What Will My QWO® Treatment Be Like?
There is no need to have anesthesia with your QWO® treatment, and you can be finished with your session in as little as 10 minutes.
Your provider will inject the QWO® solution into various treatment areas, and then you’re done.
After treatment, some patients experience some tenderness and swelling at the injection sites, but these should go away within a few days. Additionally, bruising in the treatment area can last up to three weeks.
However, once these side effects dissipate, you will have healthy and smooth skin.
For optimal results, some patients require multiple treatment sessions, spaced three weeks apart.
At your consultation, your injectable provider will advise you on how many treatments you will need.
How Is QWO® Different From Other Cellulite Treatments?
There are numerous treatments that address the presence of cellulite in your body. However, not all procedures and treatments are alike. An example of this is QWO®.
Unlike creams and other cellulite treatments, QWO® is an injectable, meaning that your provider can specifically focus on the exact location of the problematic fibrous septae beneath your skin.
Additionally, the normal treatment time for QWO® is much quicker than with competitive treatments, and QWO® has little to no downtime, whereas other cellulite treatments, such as Cellfina®, require 24 to 48 hours of recovery.
Lastly, while there is no cure for cellulite, your QWO® results can be much longer lasting than other treatments, especially if you combine your QWO® treatment with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
