What are the best options for an aging face?

Model

Provided that you a person in overall good health, a properly performed face lift would correct all of your concerns and last a reasonable amount of time. Our surgeons rise the skin, but they also lift the underlying fat and muscle layers, taking the tissue, sculpting it and suturing it in place. By doing so, our surgeons can restore the natural relationship among the skin, muscle and fat. This technique still maintains the normal blood circulation in the flap that is being repositioned and allows for more natural results.

If you are not up for the downtime that is required after a face lift surgery or are not quite sure if the surgery is an option at this moment you could try injectables such as Botox in combination with facial fillers such as Radiesse and Juvederm. Botox can be used around the eyes and on your forehead to smooth out wrinkles and get rid of crows feet. Radiesse is a filler that can be injected in the cheeks and around the nose and mouth. this filler resotres collagen and gives you a smooth and youthful appearance. For you lips and “parentheses” (nasolabial folds) you can use Juvederm to fill in the area and give you mouth a fuller and more youthful look.

Just so you know, these injectables may be a more affordable alternative to surgery but they are only temporary. Regardless of what option you choose to go with be sure that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon, such as the surgeons at both PREMIERE Center’s Tampa and Miami locations!
