One of our popular rejuvenation procedures is the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial, a non-surgical treatment that can lift, smooth, brighten, and revitalize the face. The PRP facial uses a combination of microneedling and the patient’s own platelet-rich plasma to improve skin tone, texture, quality, and appearance.

Procedure

The PRP facial begins with the harvesting of platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Blood is drawn from a vein in your arm and then processed through a machine, which isolates the plasma and platelets. The plasma concentration is altered to contain a higher percentage of platelets, which have growth factors that help regenerate damaged tissue and reverse symptoms of aging.

Once the PRP is harvested, it is administered to the skin on your face. Lastly, with our advanced microneedling device, the PRP is microneedled into your face to deeply penetrate layers of the skin and tissue, helping to produce maximum collagen.

Expectations

The PRP facial is a non-surgical procedure with minimal downtime. Minor side effects such as slight tenderness, redness, spotting, and mild swelling can occur on the first day and will subside within a few hours to a few days. You should be ready to return to normal activities by the next day after your procedure.

Over the next few weeks, the PRP will rejuvenate your skin from within, gradually creating a brighter complexion and a more youthful glow. The PRP may even improve the appearance of acne scars.
