Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Samuel Sohn is dedicated to serving his aesthetic and plastic surgery patients in Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Sohn’s passion and skill for combining art and science allow him to tailor each procedure to meet the unique needs and goals of his patients.
Dr. Sohn’s plastic surgery expertise spans a wide range of aesthetic procedures, including facial rejuvenation, breast procedures, body contouring, and non-surgical cosmetic treatments. In fact, because of his skill and expertise in body contouring, he is often a training physician teaching state-of-the-art liposculpture techniques to students. His personalized approach ensures results that enhance each patient’s appearance in a natural, beautiful way.

Education and Training
Medical Education & Plastic Surgery Training
A native of Southern California, Dr. Sohn graduated with honors in biology from Stanford University and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
He completed his residency training in general and plastic surgery at Michigan State University and furthered that training with a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. This fellowship allowed Dr. Sohn to train with some of the top plastic, reconstructive, oculoplastic, cosmetic, and facial plastic surgeons in the United States.
In addition to spending time with his patients, Dr. Sohn continues to hone his expertise through continuing education and research. This ensures that he is informed and on top of cutting-edge plastic surgery techniques and advancements—and his patients reap the benefits.

Before relocating to Florida, Dr. Sohn co-founded Hankins & Sohn, an award-winning plastic surgery practice in Las Vegas. Highly regarded by both his colleagues and patients, Dr. Sohn is known for his meticulous attention to detail, commitment to patient safety, and ability to achieve stunning results. Whether in the operating room or in a consultation, he provides compassionate care that showcases his skill and offers the results his patients desire.
