How It Works
The PRP facial begins with the injection of dermal fillers. Fillers such as JUVÉDERM®, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC, or RESTYLANE® may be selected to improve facial lines, wrinkles, volume loss, and sagging. The injection of fillers enhances facial contours and softens fine lines and wrinkles to give the face a more naturally youthful look.
Next, platelet-rich plasma is harvested for injection into the facial tissues. Blood is drawn from a vein in your arm and then processed through a machine, which isolates the plasma and platelets. The plasma concentration is altered to contain a higher percentage of platelets, which have growth factors that help regenerate damaged tissue and reverse symptoms of aging. Finally, the PRP is carefully injected into the face to complete the facial rejuvenation procedure.

What to Expect After a PRP Facial
The PRP facial is a non-surgical procedure with minimal downtime. Minor side effects such as slight tenderness, redness, spotting, and mild swelling can occur on the first day and will subside within a few hours to a few days. You should be ready to return to normal activities by the next day after your procedure.
The results from the fillers will be immediately noticeable. Your skin will appear smoother and fuller, and your facial contours will be more defined. Over the next few weeks, the PRP will rejuvenate your skin from within, gradually creating a brighter complexion and a more youthful glow. The PRP may even improve the appearance of acne scars. As a result of your PRP facial, your facial skin will look smooth, healthy, bright, evenly toned, vibrant, and youthful.
